Job Description

Job description:
The School of Pharmacy at Regis University invites applications at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank for a full-time, 12-month appointment in the biological sciences with a preferred start date of June 1, 2011. This position offers the exciting opportunity to develop an integrated and innovative student-centered academic Pharm.D. program in which faculty work in multidisciplinary teams to develop curricular content. Most courses are delivered using team-based learning (TBL) in which faculty serve as facilitators of student learning in an atmosphere that emphasizes self-directed learning and teamwork skills and deemphasizes traditional lecture-based learning.

Regis University is a Jesuit, Catholic university located in the heart of Denver, CO., whose purpose is to prepare leaders in the service of others. We emphasize excellent teaching, values-based education, service learning and scholarship. The School of Pharmacy is the newest program in the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions, was awarded candidate accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) in June 2010, and matriculated its second class of students in Fall 2010.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to team-based learning, teamwork, service, and scholarship in his/her area of expertise.
