Job Description

Job description:
The Department of Pharmacy Practice at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is accepting applications from qualified candidates to join the faculty at our satellite campus located in Colchester, Vermont. Our 62,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is minutes away from downtown Burlington and a number of other colleges, hospitals, and pharmacy partners. Nestled on the bank of beautiful Lake Champlain, the Burlington area offers the amenities and quaintness of a college town along with multi-season outdoor activities.

We are searching for a faculty candidate either non-tenure or tenure track at the Assistant Professor level in a Drug Information Specialist position. The pharmacy practice site is Fletcher Allen Health Care, the state of Vermont’s academic medical center in partnership with the University of Vermont. In addition to providing classroom and clerkship education to students, the faculty member will be responsible for developing drug information services to serve healthcare professionals.

The ACPHS Vermont Campus opened its doors to students in the fall of 2009. Our faculty delivers courses employing traditional as well as innovative teaching and learning methods entwined with state of the art technology to both the Albany and Vermont campuses. A laptop computer is a student requirement as we are a paperless campus. Students at ACPHS can look forward to rigorous courses, challenging lab work, and exciting experiential experiences.
