Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
1) Earned doctorate in pharmacy or medicine;

2) Significant experience in healthcare business management in an executive position;

3) Strong organizational, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills;

4) Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate and supervise support staff and professionals with an aim toward developing individuals and optimizing their contributions;

5) Interpret institutional priorities, plans, objectives, rules and regulations and communicate the interpretation to subordinates and others;

6) Ability to prepare and present detailed financial and educational studies, models and reports including delivery of recommendations for strategy change and immediate action.

7) Proven ability to prepare and deliver reports, presentations to small, medium and large groups that include students, faculty and outside audiences.

8) Capable of representing the Dean's Office in external professional organizations and executive interactions especially those related to contract.
