Assistant/Associate Professor, Rank and Tenure dependent upon qualifications, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy, Position 10-F023

The successful candidate will collaborate with other faculty within the SWOSU College of Pharmacy through contributions to the professional pharmacy curriculum in curricular development and by teaching pharmacy administration courses, such as marketing, management, medication safety, social pharmacy, ethics, and/or jurisprudence courses. She/he will also collaborate with faculty in the development of a joint Pharm.D./M.B.A. program and will be expected to develop research with undergraduate or entry-level Doctor of Pharmacy student involvement and interdisciplinary faculty collaborators.

Anticipated start date is January 3, 2011.

Salary is commensurate with existing salary structure.

Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
The candidate for this position should possess a Ph.D. in Pharmacy Administration or J.D. degree or related area with an interest in pharmaceutical marketing, management, medication safety, social pharmacy, ethics, jurisprudence, or pharmacoeconomics. Preference will be given to applicants with a background in pharmacy (B.S.Ph. or Pharm.D.).
