The St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position in pharmacy practice. All faculty members are responsible for creating and delivering instruction in pharmacy practice courses, both in the classroom and at the faculty’s practice site; developing and maintaining a model clinical practice; engaging in scholarly activity; and providing service to the school, college, profession, and community.
The School of Pharmacy is affiliated with several hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies in the Rochester area. Through these collaborations, stimulating and innovative clinical practice opportunities are available in the areas of acute care and adult internal medicine. Faculty members are expected to become an integral part of the pharmacy and patient care teams at their practice sites and to be responsible and accountable for the medication therapy outcomes of the patients they serve.

Education, training, experience:
Qualified applicants will hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree; will have completed (or be currently enrolled in) a minimum of one year of residency or equivalent experience; and will be eligible for licensure in the state of New York. Previous academic, practice, or scholarship experience is highly desirable. Successful candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities, outstanding clinical and leadership skills, and a strong desire to contribute to the development of the school and our community in an innovative, thoughtful, and enthusiastic manner. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
