The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) College of Pharmacy is seeking applications for a faculty position in the Division of Pharmacy Practice. The position is a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
The successful candidate must have a documented research program with a focus on education and research on health care disparities, emphasizing outcomes among people with chronic and life-threatening illnesses in traditionally underserved or disadvantaged populations. A history of community engagement is desired. The candidate’s potential to develop inter-professional collaborations with investigators within the College and at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and the University of Texas College of Pharmacy Cooperative Pharmacy Programs at University of Texas El Paso and University of Texas Pan American, as well as faculty in the UT Austin Schools of Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, and Public Policy will also be considered.

Individuals must be doctorally prepared in a health related profession, such as Ph.D., Pharm.D,, DrP.H., or M.D., and have a record of research productivity. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in teaching Pharm.D. and graduate students.

This position is security-sensitive as defined by the Texas Education Code and the Texas Government Code.
