The Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences at California Northstate University College of Pharmacy (CNU-COP) has an opening for a full time, non-tenure track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor levels.

Position: Experiential Education Area Coordinator at the level of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor stationed in Palm Springs, CA

Department: Clinical and Administrative Sciences

Experience in one or more of the following areas: Clinical Infectious Disease, Drug Information, Oncology, Critical Care , Clinical Ambulatory Care, or Clinical Hospital Based Care

CNU-COP is a private institution that incorporates Team Based Learning in all courses. The successful candidate will be stationed at a major medical center in the Palm Springs, CA area. The Experiential Education Area Coordinator will be responsible for a balance of clinical practice, precepting, advising students while supporting local sites and preceptors.

California Northstate University, College of Pharmacy has graduated its inaugural class in the Spring of 2012. CNU COP was awarded “candidate” status by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) at the January 20-24, 2010, ACPE Board of Directors meeting and will be up for full accreditation in June 2013. WASC accreditation was achieved in the June 2012.

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
A terminal degree (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE Accredited College is required and the completion of an ASHP accredited residency and Board Certification preferred. Eligibility for pharmacy licensure in the State of California is required, with the attainment of a California Pharmacy License within 6 months from date of hire.
