Foundations of Pharmacy Practice Laboratory Coordinator

The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time 12-month non-tenure track faculty appointment to coordinate and teach in the Foundations of Pharmacy Practice Laboratory course sequence. The primary responsibilities of this position are to develop, implement, and teach instructional exercises in these practice-based laboratory courses related to contemporary professional pharmacy practice. In addition, the successful candidate will supervise community pharmacy practice residents and graduate teaching assistants who also participate in these courses.

Applicants must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent, PGY-1 residency training or equivalent practice experience, excellent written and oral communication skills, and pharmacist licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of direct patient care practice. Classroom and/or experiential teaching experience are preferred.

Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
