Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy (LECOM SOP) is inviting applications for a faculty position to teach Pharmaceutical Sciences. This full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position will be located at our Erie, PA campus with teaching responsibilities in the accelerated and distance education pathways as well as post baccalaureate students. Candidates with a Ph.D. in either Pharmaceutics or Pharmacology/Medical Chemistry with experience in teaching Pharm.D. students are preferred. A pharmacy degree is an asset but not necessary for the position.
On-campus responsibilities will include didactic teaching in the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum, advising students, serving on school committees, and contributing to the scholarly pursuits of the school. Candidates should be willing to be a part of a dynamic program and support collaboration within the school as well as the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the School of Dental Medicine. The school provides time and faculty development funds for participation in professional meetings.

With campuses in Erie and Greensburg, PA, as well as Bradenton, FL, LECOM is currently home to the nation's largest medical school by matriculation. The School of Pharmacy is fully accredited by ACPE with a curriculum that is delivered in a traditional four-year program at Bradenton, FL, an accelerated three-year track at the Erie campus and a Distance Education pathway based on the Bradenton curriculum. A state-or-the-art facility houses the School of Pharmacy which offers an innovative 3-year professional curriculum.
